Pinball Hall of Fame August 29, 2008 Dale R. Weingartner (Gwinn, MI United States) This game is lots of fun as I have spent many hours on it already, and yes, you can tilt the "machine." It brought back memories of my youth and is almost like playing the real game!
Time Warp August 28, 2008 philip Most fun I've had playing video games at home. I'm having so much fun, my 9 year old would rather watch me play than play himself. Although we have and he too enjoys it. Very realistic!!
Cool Game - Recommend for all Ages! August 26, 2008 A. Calderon (Los Angeles, Ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is totally awesome. Our friends came by on a Friday night and ate pizza and beer, and played this pinball game for hours. You can also have a Williams Challenge which gives you extra credits. The Tournament was great also. I'm glad I purchased this game. The Graphics and Music are the best quality. I really enjoyed the FunHouse game the most.
fantastic fun! August 25, 2008 E. Cagle (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
we purchased this game a few weeks ago and have not been able to stop playing. especially "funhouse". if we never used our wii for anything else, it was worth getting the console just to be able to play this pinball game. make sure you do get the nunchucks. it's a whole lot more fun to be able to use both hands when playing--it feels like you're at an actual machine. and be careful not to tilt!
surprisingly, my favorite wii game so far August 23, 2008 S. T. Grant (Simi Valley, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When I saw this game about Williams pinball I had to pick it up and look, yet I almost didn't buy it because I didn't fall in love with pinball until High Speed and this didn't have any of my favorite tables in it. But due to a half-off your 2nd purchase offer, this was only ten bucks, and now I can say I would've gladly paid 50 bucks for it.
Little annoyances, like pulling the plunger with your left thumb when it's actually on the right, get forgotten after you've played a few times. Being so much like the real thing was surprising, the attention to detail astounding (you even hear the pinball clink when it hits metal). In trying to represent what was originally a real, physical, non-video game, the limitations of the Wii graphics stand out more than any other game, yet it still looks great. The actual game-play was, to me, almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The "camera" angle moves around the table effectively. And, these are still some good, fun tables.
If I had this much fun (and part of the fun is in the astonishment of how realistically this game mimics real pinball) playing games I didn't particularly like, I can't wait until they come out with my all-time favorites like Police Force, Addams Family, and the greatest one of all, Star Trek: The Next Generation. If you like pinball at all, buy this.
